Task 6 Extension

We mutually agree for Charles R. Hart to deliver the following during the period of July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010 using funds from the Rio Grande Basin Initiative:
- Continue development of resources on invasive plants in the Rio Grande Basin including printed publications and Web site development.
- Work cooperatively with Industry and State/Federal Agencies to continue development of economically and environmentally sound herbicide alternatives for control of Arundo donax (giant cane), Tamarix (saltcedar) and Chinese Tallowtree.
Work cooperatively with ESSM researchers, TSSWCB, USDA ARS, TPWD, Private Industry and local landowners to develop integrated approaches to management of giant cane (Carrizo Cane) along the Rio Grande in south Texas.
