- Development, initial validation, and documentation of an integer programming resource allocation model to evaluate how changes in agricultural water supplies affect crop mix, input use and return for irrigated producers in South Texas the GAMS programming language. (Spring 2005 preliminary results with professional papers planned for 2005-6)
- Reassign Megan Stubbs to Washington, D.C. for the summer of 2004 to serve as an intern with the Deputy Undersecretary of Agriculture to investigate the opportunities and qualifications required for Valley farmers to qualify for programs such as EQIP in assisting in on-farm water conservation practices and technologies.
